View Photo »I think it's going to be really good ... The key will be being fast enough to make Kasey Kahne (whose contract ends after next season) happy, so that he stays, so that he can help us. He is what made that place in my eyes. He is the guy there. I need to do whatever I can to make sure Kasey knows that we...
The year’s biggest letdown was that Carl Edwards didn't win a race, and that after Matt Kenseth's two season-opening wins, the Fords pretty much disappeared from contention.
I won this race last year ... and defending that victory would put a positive spin on the season. And I’m sure Mark Martin would like to see a ‘positive spin’ as well, which in his case would be another early wreck by Jimmie Johnson.
It's a tie for me in this category between Kyle Busch failing to make the Chase and Carl Edwards’ goose egg in the win column. Kyle had the wins while Carl made the Chase, but neither reached the level of success attained a year before. They would be the first, and second, to agree.
Hey, congratulations are in order for Jamie McMurray ... Ironically, his No. 26 Ford is sponsored by Crown Royal, which is exactly what we'll be doing to Jimmie Johnson in three weeks.
In addition to spinning trying to avoid Carl Edwards and Juan Montoya
Hey, congratulations are in order for Jamie McMurray ... Ironically, his No. 26 Ford is sponsored by Crown Royal, which is exactly what we'll be doing to Jimmie Johnson in three weeks.
Our involvement in NASCAR not only allows us to sponsor a premier driver in Carl Edwards, but also affords us the opportunity to team up with premier brands such as Scotts
Texas has been one of my best race tracks the last couple years ... It's a special place to me for a number of reasons, but I think our record at Texas over the years is better than any other track we go to, so I'm real excited about going there and going for the win.
It was crazy—and I mean that word literally—to ever let things get to a point where Bill Elliott could run 215 mph here. It was crazy to react to Bobby Allison's wreck into the fence, one that looked entirely too much like the wreck Carl Edwards had here Sunday for the comfort of anybody with good sense...

I could have blocked him and who knows if I would have ended up like Carl Edwards into the catch fence
We’re certainly excited we still have the opportunity of being funded ... There is nothing else in South Carolina that would compare with this center.
Copart is proud to be a part of Roush Fenway Racing and we look forward to a winning season with Carl Edwards and the No. 60 Copart Nationwide car ... We feel this new relationship will further our efforts in becoming a well-known name among NASCAR fans as a great place to find vehicles.
This has been a season I’d rather not remember ... Thanks to a condition known as selective amnesia, I’ve already forgotten about most of it. The rest? I’m counting on a freak Frisbee accident to cause a head injury which will hopefully erase the rest of my memory.
The great thing about going to tracks like Williams Grove (Pa.) and Eldora (Speedway in Ohio, which Stewart owns) and Knoxville is there's people out there every week that have the potential to be the next Jeff Gordon or Tony Stewart or Carl Edwards
It was bad ... We had everything kind of go bad all in one night, which, in a way, I guess you can say that's fortunate. That engine was probably gonna blow up whether or not we were running bad. If that was the 17's (Matt Kenseth) engine, that would be heartbreaking. I think it just showed a little mer...
I'm very excited about the Copart relationship
I'm really excited about this ... I've done business with Copart. My father and I used to buy salvaged vehicles...I drove one of the vehicles 60,000 miles. I think that vehicle cost me $550 or something like that.
If we leave California with a 150- or 160-point deficit, points racing is done ... We've got to go out and take chances. To make those points up, we're going to have to do some dramatic things.
The first time I went there I was standing on the backstretch with Ken Schrader and my dad, and they were putting in the tunnel
If I can win at Kansas, that would be the biggest win on the schedule for me ... The Daytona 500 would be great. The Brickyard 400 would be great. But Kansas, I don’t know if you could top that just because it’s so close to home.
