I hit the ball pretty good against the machine, let's see how I do against Carlos Zambrano at spring training. Hey, they let me keep the jersey and bat, all I need are the pants and shoes and we're ready to go.

Imagine a rotation of Carlos Zambrano, Jake Peavy, Rich Harden, Ted Lilly, and Ryan Dempster. They'd win 110 games!
I like Roy Halladay here, but if he gets taken Carlos Zambrano or Roy Oswalt would be fine too
It wasn't Aramis Ramirez or Alfonso Soriano or [Ryan] Dempster or Carlos Zambrano. It was the whole team that struggled, and that's why we lost.
It was a good experience, and I’d definitely do it again ... Now we know what it’s all about and we’d have time to prepare. You can see in a couple guys who didn’t play winter ball, they didn’t have good timing. I think Carlos Zambrano was practicing and throwing early, and it didn’t make any difference for him.
Like our midseason move bringing in Rich Harden, or signing Carlos (Zambrano) last year, we try to make good long-term decisions for our organization. We use that guiding principle in whatever we’re doing. We assume the new owner will appreciate those things and not have a difficulty with them
We fight the battle all the time. Do you try to harness the emotion, or let him go? And if you do harness it, is he still the same guy?
Let him be ... I like it. I've got no problem with his antics at all. Z's better when he's crazy.
He decided he would rather be the brother of a big leaguer than a big leaguer. It's less work.
