The IAAF will not comment upon the medical aspects of her case. The medical testing of the athlete is still to be completed. There will be no discussion of Caster Semenya’s case at the IAAF Council Meeting in Monaco tomorrow and on Saturday.

Despite increased media interest on Caster Semenya and issues surrounding her gender, members of ASA continued to deny the existence or knowledge of these tests as they believed that maintaining confidentiality would protect her as an individual.
