I played Charlie Chaplin, you know. And pretty damn well, I might add.
You feel the kind of legacy we are honoring ... Charlie Chaplin, the Marx Brothers, the Simpsons, even the Rolling Stones. The pants are [designed] a little too short or a little bit too big. The world of a clown is ageless, historic.
I showed a lot of Charlie Chaplin, Betty Boop and Felix The Cat
It’s a romantic comedy set in the 70’s. I play a deaf and mute character, but it’s not a serious film. It’s a fun film along the lines of Charlie Chaplin meets Buster Keaton meets Roberto Benigni kind of a world. So, that should be fun.
I realized I'm talking too much in my films. I'd really love to do visual comedy a la Charlie Chaplin. It's really challenging to portray emotions without dialogue
