My guess is he's going to win Florida by himself. And Charlie Crist, of course, would seal it, but McCain will win it by himself. Jindal is a tremendously popular figure with conservatives. He's a traditionalist Catholic, Chris. But I just don't see McCain going to Louisiana. I agree with Norah on that. I think Romney is somewhat more likely because I think McCain is going to go north. 
Floridians are recognizing that Charlie Crist, for all his optimism, hasn't done his job. He takes more time off than any previous governor ... He still has yet to lay out a plan to fix Florida's economy.
There was quite the media buzz, Greta, when Governor Palin gave a press conference... but it was a two-day conference and she didn't speak on the first day, on Wednesday, so that day was more for some of the other GOP rising stars, including Governor Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota, Governor Charlie Crist in Florida and Bobby Jindal of Louisiana.
I contacted Florida Governor Charlie Crist about this matter and was very disappointed in his response. His office told me that the Duval County Jail's hair policy is a local matter outside of his purview
We tried to do this about four years ago and nobody seemed interested. Then all of a sudden Gov. (Charlie) Crist comes into office and he tells all of his meeting professionals in state government that they will have to go to a (green) hotel. Hotels started to panic a bit — whoa, I'm going to lose this market ... This was the first one sponsored by the state Department of Environmental Protection. We have speakers who are world class.
Charlie Crist milked this campaign for all it was worth, used it to enhance his national profile, and never put in any sweat equity. When there were cameras he would show up
I think Palin is clearly a part of the conversation, but we've also got rising stars like Bobby Jindal in Louisiana, Tim Pawlenty in Minnesota and Charlie Crist in Florida
It's most definitely a wake-up call to Charlie Crist and every Republican running statewide
