It's a shame to see this ... Lattof Chevrolet for years was synonymous with the town of Arlington Heights. Everybody bought their cars there. . . . It was a Lattof who helped us build a hospital in our town 50 years ago.

Right from the start Star and Durant cars sold well and we made a concerted drive to steal Ford dealers and were very successful, as many were unhappy right from the time that Ford had taken the distribution from us. At the end of the first year with the Durant line we led Chevrolet and were just behind Ford for first place in sales in Southern Saskatchewan
We are obviously open to anything that would assist with the overall operation of the Chevrolet Centre ... We’ve had a lot of concerns of our own.
That last week at Phoenix, I think that was probably the turning point for winning the championship ... Those guys got in there and dug and dug, and that car was killed in the front end, and if we ever had luck on our side, it was that day -- we didn't lose a radiator. And our Chevrolet Monte Carlo just did a great job, and Clint drove it back to the front, and a couple more laps might have won the race with it.
It will do moderately well, but it's unlikely to change Chevrolet's fortunes
Why'd he pick this race to run ... We're so close to winning. We're going to get it.
We've got to finish in front of Clint every week ... I'd really like to just race him and beat him. He was running well and that (accident) kind of ruined his day. It worked out for us, but it won't always work out like that if we keep running into people.
