It gives those guys a good opportunity to try to get through the season financially. Chip Ganassi is a racer. They really need somebody like that. I just hope that they move forward and make some things happen. It is tough this year, tough next year, especially for all the guys trying to find money. That is the biggest problem. 
the whole organization is getting better. The last few weeks we have been running a different car, and it's made a big difference. At Charlotte (last week during the two-day test), we came out with a brand new car and it was fast both days. It's really encouraging. All the guys at Chip Ganassi Racing have been working really hard trying to get our car to run more consistent.
I think Chip (Ganassi) will decide who is going to be the best for the team ... We need to work together as a team. In his entire career, (Chip) always picked good people and I believe that 41 car needs somebody because you need somebody with motivation and willing to go the extra mile.
Nobody's ready to throw in the towel ... The GEM (Gillett Evernham) team is strong. Penske's strong. If you look at (Petty Enterprises driver) Bobby Labonte in terms of consistency, he's like (Chevrolet Chase driver) Jeff Burton, just 7-8 places behind Burton. And we think Chip Ganassi is starting to get its act back together. So, we're not happy that we're not in the Chase. Then again, we're not freaking out.
Having a partner like Chip who is heavily involved on the competition side of the business is an ideal situation for DEI ... He has a long history of managing championship teams in the IndyCar and Rolex Grand-Am Series, and I share his passion and goals of winning races and ultimately championships in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. I think this is a case where we are stronger together than we are apart.
In this ultra-competitive era of NASCAR, it is necessary to build and sustain the strongest team possible, and our combining with the people and equipment at Dale Earnhardt Inc. will help create a strong four-car program for years to come ... This is a win-win for both organizations as well as all of our partners.

We have a great relationship with all of the Caterpillar dealers, but to have dealers from Australia coming abroad for the Pomona race really speaks volumes about our sport and the NHRA fans ... Our fan base is a group of very skilled, hands-on people, and Caterpillar realizes this.
