I've watched every (Ohio State) game so far, and they never seem like they're out of position
You can feel the buzz around here ... I can tell you our players are really, really excited about playing in this game. … They understand how important the game is. It’s not about just qualifying for a bowl. It’s about going out and representing the Pac-10 against a really, really good Ohio State team.
I'm kind of surprised we had only one player on our first-team all-Pac-10
I can’t complain about (Oregon State quarterback and first-teamer) Owen Canfield ... He’s a good player. The rest of the backfield is (Heisman finalist) Toby Gerhart and ‘Quizz’ (the Beavers’ Jacquizz Rodgers). Can’t argue with that.
We know we have a really good Ohio State team coming in, and this football team is no way done
The one thing about this team is they don't flinch ... They didn't flinch Sept. 4 (at Boise State) and they didn't flinch Dec. 3.
There will be a few more people there than for New Hampshire and Maine
All systems go ... We had a good week of practice. Those two days before Thanksgiving were real fundamental, improvement days for us. Then starting back on Saturday was getting our game plan together and getting ready to go. Guys are pretty sharp and on point.
That's got nothing to do with us ... Every game for us is the biggest game we play. Every game for us is like the Super Bowl. We don't need anybody to tell us how important this football game is. We practice the same for Purdue as we do for Oregon State. Every game we play is the most important one.

I think these guys are ready to play ... With the (Thanksgiving) break, it’s a long time just talking about the next game. I’m sure mentally, if they had their druthers they’d play tonight. But I checked the schedule, and it’s not going to change. We’re going to go at 6 o’clock on Thursday, so we’re pre...
We did the same thing when we had the bye (after) the UCLA game ... We didn’t play a game two days ago, so we’re not trying to (ease) everybody back in. We’ve got time to implement a whole game plan and all those other things.
Every game we play is the Super Bowl for us ... The USC game was the Super Bowl, the Cal game was the Super Bowl, the Arizona game was the Super Bowl. If we didn't look at it that way, we wouldn't be in the situation we're in. We don't need anybody to tell us how important the game is.

I told them to be safe when they travel, enjoy your Thanksgiving and we’ll see you back Saturday morning ... ... They need to spend some time with their families. We’ll have a big work week starting on Saturday.
We've taken everybody's best shot so far ... And we know we've got an unbelievable game coming up on a Thursday night with Oregon State, and they're a tremendous football program.
Arizona is a good football team ... They made plays. Nick Foles is an outstanding quarterback.
Early this season, he tried to take a lot of the load on himself. Now he realizes that we've got some weapons around him ... He's got a better understanding of managing the game and not forcing issues. Just kind of letting things come to him. He made some really smart plays on Saturday [against Arizona ...
LaMichael had a great game (against Arizona State) and showed again why he's one of the best in the nation. We're going to ride him as long as we can
It doesn’t surprise me, because I knew the talent level ... And then you throw in (Washington’s Jake) Locker and (Oregon State’s Sean) Canfield and Jeremiah (Masoli of Oregon), there’s some pretty good quarterbacks in this league. They just hadn’t played, that’s the only difference. … It was just a matt...
