View Photo »It was very bad, especially on that turnpike, that turnpike is something else. But I was able to get here in time
I love the Miami Heat ... I loved the addition of LeBron [James] and Chris Bosh, and I’ve always been a D-Wade fan. I like the way D-Wade plays and how tough he is on the court. He’s 110-percent all the time. I think D-Wade is probably my favorite player in the NBA.
What other playoffs have been like this with the injuries? ... If we can have four, maybe five days' rest and get treatment and have real practices and work on chemistry, that'd be a big bonus.
Kick off the weekend with the Miami HEAT, who host the Memphis Grizzlies in high-flying NBA action at AmericanAirlines Arena. Since the HEAT signed LeBron James and Chris Bosh to join Dwyane Wade in 2010, they’ve been one of the NBA’s top teams. The defending Eastern Conference champions are contending ...
I’m not going be relieved until the playoffs are over and we realize our goal
I’ve handled it well, I think
Oh my gosh, it was terrible
I’m lucky with the schedule but I’m lucky to have such a great organization behind me
I’ll call home and see. I was just trying to get through this — through the night.
The baby is healthy, my wife is healthy and there were no complications, so I asked my wife what she wanted me to do
It has been a pretty busy 24 hours, or whatever it’s been
I feel great; I’m not tired at all
The traffic was unbelievably bad
That was the easiest part of the day, just to go out and play basketball ... Once we got going, I kind of put it in my mind that I was just going to focus on the game and I knew they’d be watching at home. I’ve got to impress my son, the first game he watches. So I just focused on the game and [would] t...
Just wasn't clicking for us
He was in foul trouble ... He was struggling a little bit and he had pretty much the whole third quarter to think about what was going. I think that was good for him. I think it really built a desire in him a little bit and then he made sure we got off to a great start in the fourth quarter which was ve...
I've got a beeper, so when it goes off, I'll be ready
If not this year, maybe next year ... But he'll probably get that other trophy.
Our guys are so athletic, our wing guys, that sometimes they can just make plays over the top. So even if I do box out and try to make a play on the ball, I'll look back and our guy has it ... As long as we get the rebound that's all I care about.
We knew that we had to make huge sacrifices, whatever they were ... And we're going to make them to try and win a championship.
For the most part, I don't get caught up in numbers ... I would like to average 15 boards a game, but I just sacrifice that for the betterment of the team.
We did what we were supposed to do
That's the blueprint for how we want to play
Very eager to start this series off right
Because of the position, there will always be comparisons no matter what happens.
