It’s really more important to get to the playoffs
Johnson's expertise. The Titans have more salary cap room than they've had in many years, and it's looking more and more like they won't retain big-money players Michael Griffin and Cortland Finnegan. Tennessee definitely has some more talked-about...
As the focal point of the offense, he received most of the defensive attention in 2011. However, this lightning-quick runner still accumulated 1,711 yards on the ground with 19 touchdowns. A record number of underclassmen declared for the 2012 NFL...
While he is no Ray Lewis, Keenan Robinson is the big body that Chuck Pagano relied on in Baltimore. The 6'3", 240-pound linebacker out of Texas would complement Pat Angerer in Indianapolis, and those two big linebackers would make rushing that much...

They’re trying to get in the playoffs just like we are and they’re going to go for it ... They’ve got some good tools down there with one of the best running backs in the game in Chris Johnson, and a veteran quarterback that can still make plays. We’ve got to be better in the red zone especially against...
Jake Locker represents the future of the QB position for the Titans. He has the run-pass skills that are at a premium to counteract the athletic beasts playing defensive line these days. Don't forget that Chris Johnson had his best running season...
“The good thing about this injury, if there was a good thing, is it happened early. And he’s a very strong young man and bounces back pretty quickly from these things.” The Titans continued to contend for a playoff berth, even without Britt. If they...

I feel like some momentum is coming on ... It’s a situation where we’ve just got to stay consistent, keep executing the plays and keep winning. I feel like if we do that, we’re going to have some pretty good rushing days.
Those guys run the ball well ... They get people up in the box and open up the passing game, which Hasselbeck has been able to do. They’re able to go out there and execute their running game with [Javon] Ringer, Chris Johnson and all those guys. That’s kind of the way they were made. They’ve got a bunch...
I’m getting back in the mix this week
One of the 'musts' that we had going into this ballgame was that we must stop Chris Johnson ... This guy is a dynamic running back and if he gets around the edge and around the corner and if we don't leverage the ball properly, then we are not going to have success. We did a very good job.
He just wanted me to put the pads back on, just in case ... I was the emergency guy last week. I just went along with what coach wanted me to do.

We've got five more games to go so it's a situation where I just want to be consistent to finish out this year going up, standing up, keep going on until you start to have a good game, then have a bad game. I just want to be consistent
It was just giving me room to run and make plays and the receivers did a good job getting some blocks down the field and things like that ... I feel like a lot of the running plays we ran we executed well.
We’re human and we’ve got to learn
I feel like everybody did the right thing
I was just having fun and part of having fun ended up being a penalty and a touchdown for the Jets ... It was a stupid decision by myself.
It was real tough. My gloves got really slippery and things like that, so it was tough to hold on ... Then I changed gloves to some leather gloves and those didn’t do too well, so eventually I just wore no gloves.
It felt good to finally get out there and get to some open space and make some plays ... The offensive line out there blocked great. (Fullback) Ahmard Hall was getting on linebackers and making good blocks. It was just giving me room to run and make plays, and the receivers did a good job getting some b...

If we want to be a playoff team, this is the time when you can’t see-saw ... You’ve got to get hot right now and go on a win streak.
Right now, I am more sore than anything ... Like I said, today was a good, positive day. No pain. Just got to keep building on it day by day.
I just knew if we were able to execute ourselves we could have a pretty good day
Basically we just executed our plays ... I feel like everybody did the right thing. I read my blocks well, they blocked well. ... I feel like everybody executed.
You go back to the last game and I got 130 and everything was good
You go back to the last game and I got 130 and everything was good and you come back to this game and nothing is working ... It goes back to the offense not executing, not being consistent.
