View Photo »We caught a few breaks here and that's fortunate because we needed this win tonight ... A little luck and the guys playing good in front of me made the difference.
That says a lot about the game that we played ... We've been looking for that game the last couple weeks. I thought the guys just did a wonderful job and we were able to have a great third period.
Shutouts are something the team does together
You don't love hearing it, but when you see the puck squeeze out the other side it's a good feeling
You will not get in the playoffs if you are the team that takes the most minor penalties and gives up the most power plays in the league ... That’s the bottom line. There are too many teams that are good on the power play. We cannot continually take more penalties than the other team and expect to win o...
I thought the call at the end of the game was pretty weak, in my opinion
There is no problem for me with the promotion issue. We are playing for pride, and for fun, and to keep spirits high in and around the club
It was tough for me because I felt great, you get in the game, you’re sweating and then for a long time, I didn’t hardly have any action ... But the guys did a great job, we played an excellent game and it was good to get a win.
It’s definitely been a while, but I’m excited to get back in the net and get an opportunity to get some game time here
We did a great job ... I had a lot of action there at the start with the penalties. For me, it was tough—I went quite a long time without much action. You sit around and you kind of get a bit cold.
I’m looking forward to getting back in
