My role model is (Philadelphia Flyer) Chris Pronger
During the preseason, Nashville players marveled at the enthusiasm of Jets fans during an exhibition game. Now, the question is: "What's going on up there?" You never want to give players a reason to say "No" to your city. Ask Edmonton, which suffered...

My role model is (Philadelphia Flyer) Chris Pronger
I was pretty pleased with how my summer training went … I felt like I got off to a good start of the season
There's a lot of parity in the NHL, and it's tough to beat the same team three times in a row in less than a month. The Flyers were playing without Chris Pronger, Braydon Coburn and Jaromir Jagr. Besides, these aren't robots out there playing -- they're humans, and there will be nights where they seemin...
I just didn’t feel well, I didn’t know what it was
Prongs [Chris Pronger] had the puck and when I came back for the breakout and he passed it to Hartsy [Scot Hartnell] on the blue line, I tried to catch him and I lost an edge … I wanted to react quick
We are just staying within ourselves
It was great ... It’s great when the fans get on players (like Flyers defenceman Chris Pronger). It keeps them into the game and it keeps it loud in the building, which is what we want as players. We want to feel the electricity from the fans and they’ve done a great job with that.
It’s always been a place that’s a lot of fun to play in
We let them skate around and do what they wanted to do, and that's going to be the result in the first 10 minutes
Against a team like that, that’s playing with confidence and moving the puck around, you’re going to get behind
After that first period, we continued to take penalties and allowed them to gain momentum
We didn’t do a very good job killing penalties, taking penalties, and soft play ... Against a team like that which is playing with confidence, moving the puck around, you’re going to get behind. We let get off to a great start. They kind of coasted in from there.
I think we’re just staying within ourselves
