I think it's more taxing on players when it's in Europe ... And with the time difference I don't think it benefits the NHL all that much. But when it's in North America, like Salt Lake or Vancouver, we can get peak games on prime time and it shows off the sport.

I sat down with (coach) John (Stevens) and (defensive assistant) Jack (McIlhargey) ... They just kind of reinforced what we want to do. And Chris Pronger has been a big help, too. He's always there if you want to pick his brain. He's sitting right beside me (in the locker room).
