Our baseball family is stunned and saddened by the news of Glenn's passing ... Since 1980, Glenn was a fixture in the press box at Reds games. He was a remarkable person who touched all of our lives through his unwavering devotion to the Reds, the University of Cincinnati and our city. We are privileged to have been such a large part of his life. Our thoughts and prayers are with Glenn's family and friends. 
Walt Jocketty knows the importance of surrounding himself with bright baseball people, and he has taken three steps in that direction. The Cincinnati Reds have added three top-notch front-office people with the addition of Cam Bonifay, Mike Squires and Jamie Quirk — all people from Jocketty's past.
All he wants to do is root for the Cincinnati Reds and hang out with his (twin boys) ... This is not him.
We expect that it will be a great atmosphere ... It's really special to be part of a banner-raising ceremony. That's something this town hasn't seen since 1990 with the Reds. I think it's something where a lot of people weren't around when it happened. I'm proud that we were able to bring that to Cincinnati this past season.
