Seve has invited me to captain Europe at the Royal Trophy and I am delighted to accept
I am really pleased to be representing Europe in Thailand and am determined to regain the Royal Trophy for Europe ... I am looking forward to working with my counterpart, Asian Captain Joe Ozaki, and it would be wonderful to secure victory in what will be an important week for Seve.
I think (2006 captain) Ian Woosnam did the right thing in pre-empting that fact in Ireland, to have (Irishman) Des Smyth as one of his assistant captains
It will be difficult enough to try to regain the Ryder Cup without Tiger Woods, never mind if he is back to his top form and winning five points out of five
So we have to counteract that by playing as well we can against him and also the other 11 players on the team ... But I think it makes it, I hate to say it in front of Corey Pavin and our American friends, but it makes it a better win if we can regain the Ryder Cup with Tiger Woods in it.
The association of The Address brand is a great added benefit for The Montgomerie in Dubai. The Montgomerie has achieved numerous milestones and accolades since its opening in 2002 and is certain to further strengthen its appeal under this new management agreement in the foreseeable future.

We have a very special case here ... Rory is an outstanding talent, our brightest star in Europe right now. He is a breath of fresh air.
