It was obviously a dream come true to score your first NHL goal and I was lucky enough to get it on Cory Schneider who's a [Boston College] guy
Nashville is a tricky team to figure out ... Their margin of error is so slim that you can't really give up any bad goals, or a free one, because it might stand up. They do work hard, they do go to the net, they tip pucks, they screen, they throw shots at the net from bad angles, as you saw in the playo...
I feel great. I'm just enjoying playing and not thinking too much about it
It’s less about individuals and more about the team’s success
You almost don't even think about it ... It just kind of happens and you're seeing the puck well and you're moving and you're anticipating. The other times, they go in where nothing makes sense and you're just questioning yourself, and there are times when everything makes sense and you just seem to kno...
I feel pressure every time I play, whether it's for the first time in two weeks or something like this ... I am always feeling pressure to win and succeed and do well. It doesn't change just because I've got a few starts in a row.
I think we are just pulling for one another and whatever is best for the team. We just want to win
He's a competitor and wants to play and it's something we're dealing with fine ... It's not awkward between us at all. We're just pulling for one another and whatever is best for the team. We don't change what we are doing because of it. There's really no situation to even discuss. We're just doing what...
Sometimes you catch lightning in a bottle and gotta go with it
Maybe look at it to be just as good in his next start and that's good for us
He's such a great teammate and professional, he's going to get his chance and he'll be back in there sooner than later ... Obviously their fans don't really like us, they don't really like us, we don't really like them ... It always feels like a playoff game, whether it's November or March or June. So it's a fun team to play against.
You could see signs of it earlier, but to go on a tough trip like this, it's huge for our confidence and the way we want to play our game ... Sometimes the road will do that to you, It will make you simplify your game and make things easier on you.
I don't look at it as any kind of (controversy) situation like that ... It's a long season, with injuries and ups and downs. Lou and I have a solid relationship and try to help each other as much as we can.
They're always a difficult challenge because they don't have a lot of marquee names but great depth and guys who buy into the system
This is one of our best efforts all year ... Our D blocked a lot of shots in front of the net and our [penalty kill] tonight was great.
It was one of our best efforts all year. We blocked tons of shots and we kept them to the outside
When you play more frequently, you think less, which is a good thing ... You just go out there and play.
I’ve needed to come up with some more big saves and tonight I was able to
