With the news that Nigel Clough has followed in his father's footsteps as Derby County manager (and the persistent rumours that Darren Ferguson might one day be good enough to manage Manchester United), I was wondering whether any other sons have managed the same clubs as their fathers 
I haven't spoken to Fulham and I won't be revealing anything until I've met with both parties. I've spoken to Darren Ferguson and Barry Fry and I know of their interest, so it's very flattering.
I've done a deal with Fulham - [Peterborough boss] Darren [Ferguson] has just got to convince the player to come here. Nothing will happen until January, but obviously we want to know where we are with the deal.
The deadline for temporary loan transfers is the 25th November so what we don't want to do is go by that and be short of one or two back-up players. Darren [Ferguson] is very happy with the team, it's unbeaten in 11 and they're playing great, entertaining football.
Joe is part of the side and we don't want to let any of our players leave the club. The board have backed the manager all the way and have proven, by rejecting big offers for both Mackail-Smith and Aaron McLean, that they have the backbone to keep our stars here and they will continue to support Darren (Ferguson) in his ambition to gain promotion.
I've just got to keep scoring every game I can. Mackail-Smith has not had a regular strike partner following the elbow injury suffered by Aaron Mclean. It's a shame that Aaron got injured, as we were forming a strong partnership as with last season
We know they have kept an eye on him. The next few weeks could be interesting.
Hopefully the team will win whatever players are put out. We all need to support the club and that's what I intend to do.
