I have never played against him (Darren Lockyer), so it will be a bit weird
He's just a competitor ... Our game has got a lot of good halfbacks. The seven jersey for Australia has always had battles. I'm sure he'll have competition down the track, but whenever he plays for Australia he'll give it everything and that'll put him in good stead.
You want to improve by playing against the best, and there are not many better than Darren Lockyer and Johnathan Thurston

Nathan Cayless was my first captain in first grade. He was only 22 or … 23, and he inspired me. Then I guess obviously Steve Price was a great leader, but to also have Danny Buderus and Darren Lockyer at representative level, they are all humble guys and they just lead by example. I'm not the biggest ta...
They've had probably a better preparation than us, they had a warm-up game (against Tonga)
The bloke outside, Darren Lockyer, he's a pretty handy player and you add to that Karmichael Hunt, Justin Hodges (and) Israel Folau, there's a stack of class there who have played in the big games before so we won't be falling into that trap (of taking the Broncos lightly without Wallace).
I've always said before the start of next season I'll make a decision on whether I'm going to make myself available for rep football again ... Right now, I just don't know. It's in the back of my mind, but when you get to over 30 a lot of things are in the back of your mind. This is highly likely to be ...
I'd think Darren Lockyer would do the majority of the first receiver work, but I'm not too sure - they've got a lot of class players
Wallace is a massive loss for the Broncos. They can still win, but it's going to make it hard for them. It's such an important position, you need someone there with experience. The bonus for him (Glenn) is he's got Locky (Darren Lockyer) there and K (Karmichael Hunt) can play that role as well. He's (Hu...
Obviously it was an unfortunate injury for (Wallace) but Darren Lockyer plays a pivotal role in the way they attack, Karmichael Hunt's playing some outstanding footy and they've got some running back-rowers that are ball-playing and providing a lot of attack for them
If we're any chance of winning this match we have to start strongly because (if) you give guys like the Broncos - (guys) like Darren Lockyer and Karmichael Hunt and (Justin) Hodges and (Israel) Folau, you (could) name the whole side - (if) you give them any head start they're pretty hard to peg back.
