David Whelan (born 24 November 1936) is a former professional football player with Blackburn Rovers and Crewe Alexandra, and the current owner of Wigan Athletic. He is the former owner of JJB Sports and owns the JJB Stadium where Wigan Athletic and the Wigan Warriors RLFC play. Full Article
