David Axelrod, a senior adviser to Obama’s reelection campaign, told CNN’s ‘State of Union’ that Romney’s corporate background amounted to ‘strip-mining companies in order to profit off of them.’
He was simply unwillingly to make the Faustian bargains with the Right that Romney has so willingly made.
He’s entitled to do that—no one is begrudging him that
Saving an industry, as the president did, is different than strip mining companies in order to â in order to profit off of them, which is, in many cases, what Mr. Romney did
Is that the economic vision for this country outsourcing, off-shoring, stripping down companies, lowering wages, lowering benefits? I don't think that's the future for this country

They tried to get away with a blatant deception and got caught. Now they're frantically scrambling around, looking for a justification
