Our approach is never to hit home runs ... Our offensive approach is built around foot speed and doing the little things. I just look at [CCU] coach [Brian] Gabriel's strength and conditioning [program] as the reason we are hitting home runs. Tommy Baldridge, David Anderson and Dock Doyle; these guys have gotten stronger in the last two to three years.
David has been doing running and ball work for a week-and-a-half and is getting close to being available ... If he does not play this week he will be right for the next game. The same goes for Stephen Doyle. Even if David is right for this week, we may wait another week to give him a game.
We’re working with the deans to establish what strengths we have and where we plan to move in the future — that’s already underway
