Fair play to David Moyes for the way he handled Everton's sickening defeat to Liverpool in the 212th Merseyside derby. A compatriot of his might have let rip at the officials to divert attention from the loss and his side slipping to 16th in the table. Full Article at Mirror.co.uk

We lacked quality going forward and the confidence is not great because we are not playing well ... The goals we conceded were not like those in Lisbon. They were not beautiful goals. They were the result of poor defending.
I am aware that other clubs will have a similar scenario but they haven't got games on Thursday and again on the Sunday. It could have been quite easily been moved but for the decision to screen Arsenal versus Liverpool on the Wednesday.
We didn't defend properly at Bolton and we didn't do the things that stop you losing games. Because of that we have ended up losing it. They have been told – you don't play like that and play for Everton
We would like more preparation time because to play a side like Stoke City you have to be ready for them
It's always nice to win away in Europe and this was an important victory. We were hoping to take points early in the campaign and we are now in a good position. We want to stay there and keep progressing in this competition.
We were better in the first half without being at our best ... But we're trying to integrate players and build confidence. Fulham upped the tempo in the second half and we didn't match them.
