I seem to have managed to do quite a variety of things while I've been doing Doctor Who. I haven't felt that it has been anything other than a positive.
The skull had starred in a stage run of the classic production last year after pianist Andre Tchaikowsky left his remains to the Royal Shakespeare Company in the hope it would be used on stage. Full Article at The Telegraph

It's not something I could do. I see people who do it well and just really admire them. Someone like David Tennant is able to embrace people's love for Doctor Who in a totally positive way. I have huge admiration for people who are able to do that.

It's not something I could do. I see people who do it well and just really admire them. Someone like David Tennant is able to embrace people's love for Doctor Who in a totally positive way. I have huge admiration for people who are able to do that.
But at that point there were three others [Jude Law, David Tennant and Rory Kinnear] who were going to do it and they were all really good. I just thought, why put myself under that kind of pressure?
We have been using guest presenters since Simon Amstell left the show. It seemed a perfect choice to do a Doctor Who special with David Tennant.

Being a head is a tough but extremely rewarding job, but you don't need to be a Time Lord to make a difference to children's lives. I'm not surprised to see David Tennant at the top of the list, alongside positive feedback about their own heads, who are obviously role models in their own right.
