Middlesex have signed former Australia wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist to spearhead their 2010 Twenty20 campaign. The 38-year-old retired from international cricket in 2008, but captained the Deccan Chargers to the Indian Premier League title in 2009. Full Article at BBC News

I got a feeling of playing for India when I represented Deccan Chargers. It was a special feeling and I feel completely at home whenever I come to Hyderabad. Though I was disappointed with the early exit of the Chargers, the feeling of being there was something unique

We were knocked out in the first round but the team fought well. The guys had the crowd gunning for them all through and I was out there on the field, representing India and not just the Deccan Chargers.

It's funny because Adam Gilchrist, Andrew Symonds and most of the support staff at the Deccan Chargers are some of my closest mates ... We might have a laugh in a few days time, but I'm not sure they will be laughing about it tonight.
