When we go to Miami, it's always kind of a relief for me ... The only time it was stressful was in 2006 when we were racing for a championship.

Yeah, definitely. Mike Ford (Denny Hamlin's crew chief) and Greg Zipadelli (Joey Logano's crew chief) helped us out a lot. They gave us a lot of pointers. We unloaded with the same set-up the 11 (Denny Hamlin) car did and worked on it from there. I think we learned a lot today. Right now it's hard to th...

Jimmie Johnson’s fourth Sprint Cup title aside ... the biggest story in NASCAR now is my feud with Brad Keselowski. NASCAR called the brash young star into the hauler before Sunday’s race, probably to tell him that ‘brash’ rhymes with ‘crash.’ I’ve already vowed to wreck him at Homestead. I’m not sure w...
We came here, we made the Chase and we’ve been competitive, we had a bad week ... You’ve got to look at the positives. The positives were we probably had the second fastest car last week. I would say the No. 11 (Denny Hamlin) had a faster car than us. Apart from that nobody had a faster car than us. Nei...

Be careful what you read and be careful what you read into it, because a lot of times that's not Brad Keselowski talking, that's not Denny Hamlin talking, that's not Kyle Petty talking ... That's the downside.
I'd have four DNFs. But I plan on going for the wins in the last two races, not only for the glory, but also to build momentum for next year, although that momentum will probably be gone by December. I drive the FedEx-sponsored car, but I refuse to 'mail it in.'
He cuts me off like he always does ... He’s Denny Hamlin.
Only in NASCAR can a rule change be implemented on the day of the race ... I guess NASCAR felt the need to take action for whatever reason, and they certainly succeeded, because the took all the action out of Sunday's race.
I knew the race was supposed to be over, but I've done lots of stupid stuff, and I didn't want to lose this race. With nine races left, Martin sits in prime position to capture his first series title. He leads Denny Hamlin and Jimmie Johnson -- who has won the past three titles -- by 35 points heading i...

It's the only short track in the Chase, and it's a short track like no one's ever built before. I think that's one of the tracks where you can sort of throw out the whole setup and just know that you have a driver who's good at Martinsville. Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson come to mind. Denny Hamlin is a...
I think everyone was just content to log laps ... Where is the middle ground between the new NASCAR rule and racing? Let us race. They gave us a car to race; now let the drivers handle it.
I told Mike (Ford, crew chief) at the beginning of this race, I said, 'Let's just get back to the Top 5 in points because it's a shame for us to be in 11th as competitive as we've been
I told Mike [Ford] at the beginning of this race, 'Let's just get back in the top 5 in points,' ... It's a shame for us to be 11th in points, as competitive as we've been.
I'm not too proud to admit a mistake ... As much as I'd like to blame Brad Keselowski, I can't. The accident was my fault. In my haste, I laid waste to my Chase chances.
Qualifying has been so bad for us during the course of the season ... We picked it up a little bit in the last two months. For the most part on our Friday if we end up 15th, we’re pretty happy. This is out of the blue for us, but I think we’re starting to learn so much about our mile-and-a-half and two-...
There was a tire test here and from what I hear, they (Goodyear) didn’t bring back the tire that everyone liked again ... Same as Atlanta. They keep increasing the stagger in the tires and it just keeps making guys loose in and loose off. You’ll see it during the race. You’re going to see guys sliding a...

I've been telling everyone that the No. 11 FedEx team is peaking at just the right time ... We may not be the 'X' factor, but we're surely the 'Ex' factor.
Hey, I don't fear anyone ... Nor do I scare anyone. But, with apologies to Kasey Kahne, I feel like I'm the hottest driver entering the Chase.
This is my house. It has been for the last two years. We just haven't got the win to show for it. Finally, our FedEx Toyota showed that we're a championship contender
