Right now we have a lot of confidence in Derrick Rose ... He's playing like a veteran. He's making the right decisions at the end of the game, doing what he needs to do. He drives to the basket really hard. When he's open, he takes the shot. He's playing really smart. He surprised me. I knew he was a nice player and really good with a lot of talent, but right now, he's playing at a high level.
I saw Derrick Rose come off the pick and roll ... He took the jump shot from around 15 feet. Everybody turned to crash and I was on the baseline trying to get in the middle where the ball ended up. It bounced hard and hit the floor. I turned around, Larry Hughes had it. I just started running at him so he couldn't have an easy shot because I knew he had to shoot it. I jumped. He made a fade away. Nice shot.
Rose is good, oh man ... For a young guy to take over that game like that, regardless of who he's playing, that's real impressive. I'm definitely a Derrick Rose fan. I will have one of his jerseys up in my house.
