He hits it very, very hard. That’s one thing he does. He’s like (running back) Dominic (Rhodes) – a lot of energy, quick burst. He did a good job for us.
Dominic (Rhodes) will start and we've got Chad Simpson and Cliff Dawson ... I think that's going to be our three backs this week, and those guys will do well.
It was good to get (reserve running back) Dom (Dominic Rhodes) and Joe in some space ... Dom had a really good run on a draw play. Joe made some good runs. I am sure we will see some good blocking by the linemen, the tight ends, the receivers that allowed that to happen. That’s a positive and we need to build on that.
This is definitely not a job for me ... I play Football because I love to play.
I still think about his touchdown against San Diego (on Nov. 23) ... I've never seen a spike hit the ground and go up that high. That's him. Everything is real about that. It's a 100-percent natural reaction, and players feed off that.
I know they have my back and they know I have their back. One year excluded, for my kids I'm going to have stories to tell them ... I know we've got what it takes to go to the Super Bowl. I'm just very happy and sometimes it's overwhelming to me.
I think about Dallas (Clark), Reggie (Wayne), Joe (Addai), P. (Peyton Manning) and all those guys, and I loved to come and compete with them
San Diego, shoot ... I was rooting for Denver, you know what I'm saying? But we got San Diego and we're going out there against those fans and that team. I know they'll be rowdy, I know they're going to be talking. I'm excited. This is what Football's all about. This is what you play for.
