I went to the Mather School, and I had one black teacher - Miss Taylor ... I'm going to be 40 next month, and I'll tell you, in my lifetime, I'd say there were three big moments, three things that meant something to me as a black man. John Thompson winning the NCAA tournament as the coach at Georgetown. Doug Williams winning the Super Bowl. And Tiger winning the Masters. But this. This is a lot different, a lot bigger than somebody winning some sports thing. 
I felt really comfortable out there and I saw a lot of things on the run, the coverage breaking down, so I knew Jeff was probably getting blitzed or under pressure, so I just looked to come back toward him. I told Doug Williams after the game and (receivers) coach Richard Mann I felt real comfortable out there today. I felt like I broke a brand new car in.
I just kind of picked it up ... I guess it seems (to have some sort of significance because of Sunday's game), but Doug Williams was always a player I really liked.
