View Photo »We’re on a roll, and obviously he’s doing a great job — not just a good job, he’s doing a great job ... I think we all feel comfortable with the way the dynamics have been here the last 10 weeks.
He's getting the ball to the right guys ... He understands what coverages they're in. He's in the mold of Drew Brees and those guys in that he knows where to go with the football now before he snaps it. I don't know if his brother is helping him or not, but he's playing really, really well. He's at the ...
Anytime you need a touchdown, I don't think you can score too early ... We got the 2-point conversion to go up by three and I know our defense felt very comfortable being able to go out there and stop them.
It's fitting for all he's been through, people saying, 'We're a run-only team,' and then going toe-to-toe with Drew Brees, a great quarterback ... Alex put us on his back.
I had figured coming into this game they would feel like, `Let's keep everything in front of us, let's not give up big plays and obviously do a good job against the rush and try to put them in third-and-long situations,' ... They did, yet again, a great job stopping the run in a lot of cases which we fe...
Embattled quarterback Alex Smith had to wait almost seven years, but he's finally playing like a first-round draft pick, and he out Drew Brees-ed Drew Brees during the final four minutes of Saturday's Divisional game

Smith is not in the point of his development where he can compensate for or camouflage below average offensive line play. And some quarterbacks can. Peyton Manning is great at that, Drew Brees is great at that. These are teams without great offensive lines. Smith is not quite at that point. And I think ...
Drew Brees knows where he’s going with the football before he snaps it. He gets it out of his hands really quickly. That scheme doesn’t allow you to get a lot of pressure on him. It’s tough to come by.
It stings right now because of the expectation level we had coming into this ... A tough pill to swallow.
There are a few quarterbacks in the league that can play in a game and look like they’re perfect, and Drew Brees is one of those guys ... The toughest position to play in the NFL is quarterback — in fact, I think that could be the toughest position in any sport — and then when you see a guy play it perf...
I felt like we had all the pieces in place. I felt like we were playing very, very well
He’s built differently than Drew Brees, but he’s thirsty for knowledge ... This is where you want to get him right now. Travis Lulay is the real deal. He’s got NFL promise. If I were representing him, I’d get him $15 million, right now. You know who he reminds me of? A young Rich Gannon.
I am humbled to receive an award that is associated with two of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the Big Ten ... Just to be mentioned in the same sentence with Drew Brees and Bob Griese is an enormous honor. Drew Brees, especially, has been a major inspiration in my progress as a quarterback....
It stings right now because of the expectation level that we had coming into this tournament and understanding that if we win here, we're into the NFC championship game and anything can happen ... That's tough. Tough to swallow at this point.
Running the football has been a point of emphasis ... Certainly we have a lot of confidence in Drew Brees in the pocket and outside of the pocket. I also know and recognize the ally that a running attack provides the quarterback and the importance of that.
It feels great to be division champs
There are four games that will be on prime time for both American and Australian NFL fans with two today, one Monday and Tuesday, we have Drew Brees favourite at $2.25 but there has been strong money for Tony Romo at the $4 and Ben Roethlisberger at $6.50.
It's a combination of both
No, I can dunk it over; trust me
It turned it into a finger roll
At the time, it was disappointing because we didn't make the playoffs that year
You gain it with experience as you fight through adversity
