Having a difficult group like this is good because we'll be focused ... They won't be easy games. The group is undoubtedly balanced, but we're confident in our play. We'll have to maintain the good play we've had of late — and work even harder. Every time Brazil takes the field, we're expected to win. T...
Ivory Coast is a great team. Drogba is one of the world's best players ... The Africans are not as innocent on the field as they were some time back. On Portugal, it will be a great game. The two sides have a great rivalry. We can't get excited about that 6-2 win in the friendly in 2008. A friendly is o...

We can’t complain. We qualified in double quick time for the World Cup, we won the Confederations Cup and we beat Argentina away (in the qualifiers)
It was a good match. Oman plays tactically good football and they were on top of their game. After playing England we were tired and that's why we didn't play to our usual standards

I have seen the video of their match against Australia. They created too many chances and missed a couple of goal scoring opportunities. But that is football it is unpredictable ... Oman played better than Australia.

That’s the way we play ... England had 11 men behind the ball. They need to learn how to dribble. That’s what you have to do. Teams are more compact these days.
People need to know we are the five-time world champions. It is Brazil we are talking about ... They (Manchester City) have got to have respect for us. They just can't come to the team hotel and try and take the player away.
Talent is extremely important but it has to be united with other things to have any effect. History shows this. On a lot of occasions Brazil have had players of very high quality but haven't got the results.
Now they will have to answer to FIFA
The history of the Brazil national team, the five-times world champions, needs to be respected ... The thought of sending him here and taking him away was not going to happen. There is a hierarchy that needs to be respected.
In Italy or England you know that the leaders are always going to beat the bottom team. But you can't say the same about the Brazilian league.
We've been looking at his performance in the Portuguese league and the Champions League, and now there is an opportunity to see him from up close
Anyone who works in football knows Argentina not only had to beat Peru, but also a case of the nerves
Uruguay is going to have to go for it, and that could give Argentina lots of space to play in ... They will be over the nervousness and will play much better.
We will do what is best for Brazil ... We will decide who will play after physical evaluations are conducted when the players report to the national team.
