Eric felt strongly that there was a difference of approach in coaching style, communication, terminology and things like that ... We talked about it at length. We factored in, very seriously, what this guy has meant to the organization -- his loyalty, his time and the fact that he's well-liked by everyone. In the end, the way I believe in leading, it's [Wedge's] staff, I hold him accountable for his staff, and I didn't see a reason to disagree with the decision.
