The problem with Pittsburgh when you're talking about job numbers is that while on the whole they look good, our neighborhoods are full of haves and have-nots
I remember Franco Harris looking like Gabe Kaplan and also looking like he was going to die and him wishing he would.
This is a comment more about his tendency not to show up for things over and over again ... If the White House expects him, and he says he's going to show up, and then he doesn't show up, that's as little disrespectful of the mayor.
I talked to Tony Dorsett and Franco Harris. I had breakfast with Lenny Moore ... The whole time it felt like a dream. At no point can you ever be used to being around those guys.
The G-20 was the biggest event in Pittsburgh history ... We were supposed to show a thriving city. That was not displayed. We have a world-class city with world-class leadership that's missing in the center. We need leadership at City Hall.
