The schedule we presented to (Manchester mayor Frank Guinta) is the one we're going to operate. It may change a few minutes here or there, but whatever we gave to the mayor is what we will do
The mayor (Frank Guinta) has stated publicly a number of times that student enrollment has gone down, (that) therefore they ought to look at reducing the number of teachers ... But student enrollment hasn't gone down enough to justify not filling 100 vacancies.
The people of Manchester continue to be fleeced by Frank Guinta, who has spent more time traveling the state to make cheap political points rather than work to address the budgetary challenges at City Hall
Guinta's decision resets the clock. There is no question people would consider the race if Frank is not going to run. With his decision, they will take another look at it
This is not like the Verizon Arena, and it's not like the Fisher Cats' ballpark, where they got a whole new facility ... We inherited these old facilities, and it's very difficult to operate them in this economy and to try to improve them to the point where people actually want to come to them.
These deficits will eventually be borne entirely by the taxpayers if the situation is not addressed
Because this is an ongoing investigation, I cannot confirm the identity of the suspect, and I refer all questions in regards to this issue to the Manchester Police Department. I have notified Mike Lopez, chairman of the Board of Aldermen, about this situation so that he may notify the other members of the board
