Being Bayern captain feels good and I think it's logical a player from Munich should lead FC Bayern on to the pitch ... Many great teams have players who have come through the youth system or have been at the club for a long time as their captains. I'm thinking of Steven Gerrard at Liverpool, John Terry...

The area in which we've done well is compensating for the changes at right-back over the last two or three years. We had Wes Brown come in place of Gary Neville, then John O'Shea and Rafael Da Silva shared the spot and did well. It may be O'Shea's position now, who knows?
