I can remember when I was a little kid and didn't have costumes as they do now. I got a plastic sheet to wear and plastic mask and the hair, and I was either Gene Simmons or Paul Stanley. I wandered around with that thing on, the plastic poncho and the mask and an acoustic guitar.

If you look at it, you'll see Ace is holding his guitar upside down ... It was shot at Michigan Palace, although we were playing three nights (and recording 'Alive!') at Cobo Hall. Before we had hit records, we were selling out arenas, so we knew something was going on.
