If somebody was brought up from a very early age in this country, it's hard to challenge the fact that if they wanted to play for Scotland that they should do.

I've known Paul a long time, he is an experienced coach and has been involved with Scottish club sides for a number of years ... He is someone I know very well as a person and who has got respect in Scottish football. I'm pleased he has decided to accept and come on board. I spoke to one or two others, ...
I'd love to have somebody in place before the Japan game. Whether that will happen, I don't know but that's what I'm aiming for.
@graemepark there is as much chance of that as George Burley winning manager of the year!
