It makes me hurt to think about how many we've come close: running out of gas at Michigan, and stopping on the air hose at California even though we were still in the pit box, so we probably gave that one up ... There's been about four or five: Kansas, we took four tires instead of two and the 14 (Tony ...

We worked hard all day, got ourselves in a good position and I think it was going to be a good points day ... Then NASCAR threw a debris caution for no debris, which caused Kurt Busch to hit the wall, which caused me to go to the grass and Greg Biffle. ... It's disappointing that we had a bad race becau...
It looks like Jimmie brought his ‘A’ game to Phoenix
First, Carl always runs well there and enjoys racing there ... Also, I think we made some progress on our program last week at Kansas that will carry over to California. We finished 10th at Kansas and Greg Biffle had a shot at winning, so I feel like we may have turned a corner to improving our performa...
It was something new we were trying, something in our development plan, so we were super-excited ... We were celebrating like we just won the Daytona 500, won 10 races in a row, even though we finished third. We felt like at that point, man, we've really made a year-and-a-half's worth of gain here in on...
Yeah. We adjusted the car. Actually, I was too loose. I almost spun out underneath Brian Vickers when Greg Biffle was behind me -- I should have wrecked. But, (I) held on to it. I guess since I should have wrecked there, I wasn't meant to win today. It kind of balances out, I guess.
Who says the Chase format needs tweaking? ... What needs 'tweaking' is Jimmie Johnson, for even putting himself in that position in the first place. I think it's funny that although Johnson returned with a 'black hood' after his wreck, he was anything but an executioner.
Sure, it looks like Jimmie Johnson has the Cup wrapped up
I got talked to by Sterling Marlin and a few other guys and I learned a lot from it because there were things I was probably doing on the race track being a younger guy and not realizing probably what I was doing
I probably shouldn't have run Joey out of room, or run him so tight at the end of the straightaway at California down the backstretch
We're sure excited to be running good again and especially going to some tracks we like, like California and some other places ... I'm having the time of my life. I know that.
This front-end geometry combination that we've been trying to get worked out is something that I've never run in this car before ... This is all new territory for me. I basically fired off at Kansas with stuff I've run in practice and Happy Hour before trying to get it right and adjusting it. And on Sun...
I know what I did was wrong ... I know I made a mistake. But we're sure excited to be running good again, especially going to some tracks we like, like California.
