View Photo »Yeah, he was a ridiculous talent
There are always a couple moments in a road game where it can be a five- or six-point game, and all of a sudden it’s eight or 10 ... You sort of lose your mojo.
He wouldn’t back away from any challenge ... Guarding guys like that, it’s kind of thrilling for him. He’s been watching them on TV for the last three, four years, and now he gets to guard them.
He doesn’t even know our system yet ... We don’t want to give him jobs that are not in the mainstream of what he’s going to be doing.
Timmy and Steve are two good examples of people taking care of their bodies, that's for sure. They're both trim and cut ... slim. They watch what they eat. They take care of themselves
He has been doing this for years in Europe and everywhere ... He is a blue collared guy who just does the basics really, really well. He is a great competitor.
I thought we earned it ... We competed well. We had a lot of guys that competed defensively and rebounding-wise in the second half and it generated a lot for us.
