I just miss Hawaii and I just dread surfing in the cold water all year long
Since I've been involved with Hawaii football, the end of the year, something special happens on this island ... Especially when teams come from far away. I don't think they can take it very lightly. I think they understand what this team and field can do, especially come December.
We're now at a point where the mainstream position that's supported by the majority, both here in Hawaii and the whole country, is civil unions
The Natatorium is a war memorial to those who died in World War I and all veterans in Hawaii and elsewhere ... It should not be torn down. It's a slap in the face to the nation's military; it's just not right.
I think HIV/AIDS can be totally banished from Hawaii because of the way we're set up, but it takes some effort
Give Hawaii credit. It was a great game, a great battle
Players like Solomon (Hill, UA freshman forward), this was his third, fourth and fifth games ... To credit Solomon, for example, he made some terrific plays. If he can do it in this field, in November as a freshman, you just know he can keep getting better. That's the word I kept throwing around before ...
It's like taking Alaska and Hawaii and putting them together ... Rain forests with glaciers in them. Volcanoes. Personal, private beaches. We catch lobsters as big as cats. There's world-class hunting -- red stag, the tahr from Asia. It's quite magical.
There's a little bit of pressure because I really want to (win the Vans Triple Crown) for Hawaii ... At the same time, this is a new event, starting from round one and I just wand to stay focused and get busy in the heats. I'm really excited.
Hawaii was good, but Oklahoma was the best
Recently there have been 'Wonderette' shows in New York and Chicago and Florida and Hawaii.
that includes Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands.
The Pacific Rim has helped shape my view of the world ... I am an American president who was born in Hawaii and lived in Indonesia as a boy. My sister Maya was born in Jakarta, and later married a Chinese-Canadian. My mother spent nearly a decade working in the villages of Southeast Asia, helping women ...
Hawaii had pretty high unemployment and lost a lot of jobs in tourism and construction in the third quarter ... Right now, consumers are using their credit cards for liquidity to carry them from paycheck to paycheck or to supplement their unemployment.
The fact that this report is timed for release shortly after another successful state of Hawaii business mission to China only points to its political nature
I haven't paddled out in a while, and I realized I was back in Hawaii and back in the Triple Crown. I got really excited to be back ... I love the Triple Crown to death and I would hate to miss it. I'm so glad I'm here.
We are extremely grateful to Dr. Tseu for his generosity ... We hope that others will be inspired by Dr. Tseu's spontaneous act of kindness and will help to support Hawaii's public libraries in these challenging economic times.
It’s probably the best thing I’ve ever done in my career ... I haven’t won a lot and it’s special to win the in Hawaii because I live here and it’s part of the Triple Crown.
If I told you the beaches were better than Hawaii or Rio, the wildlife was like Africa, the skiing in the northern parts were like Aspen and the history of the country is older than China's ... it's true
I'd like you to send my green suitcase to Hawaii, and my red suitcase to London.
But now it basically boils down to, if you commit a murder, you are going to jail and you are getting a life sentence ... Hawaii is a very uninviting place to commit murder and the police department has a very high closure rate.
Ohayo @WatariGoro @DAK04 @sanseigx & my other Hawaii peeps! Hope your day goes well. ^_^
