The innovations will come out of China and India
India has a great stake in the global pact on climate change and as a responsible country it has been unilaterally taking measures to reduce its carbon foot print. However, India is still a developing country with severe constraints on resources, and this must be recognised by developed countries
I am sure that the cost of the car will be lower than any car made in India

The Dalai Lama went to southern Tibet at this critical moment probably because of pressure from India
It is too early to say about price of the car, but its (overall running) cost will be lower than the cost of any other new car made in India today. It is not sufficient to launch the car on a low price only, but it also needs fuel efficiency. It will be a competitive product and very affordable.

Since the Indian team could not have interrogated him directly, the team did seek the FBI’s cooperation and handed over some questions to which India wanted the answers
In barring foreign journalists from going to Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh to report the Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama’s week-long visit to the northeastern State which China off and on claims as its own, has the Manmohan Singh government thumbed its nose at India’s great democratic traditions?

Claims about India's involvement are aimed at boosting the Taliban's overall image in Pakistan
If the Pakistan army has concrete evidence of India's involvement in terrorist attacks in Waziristan, then the matter should be taken up at the highest level
This is simply an exercise to motivate their men to fight against militants. The Pakistan army is trained to fight against India. Only now are they being asked to fight an enemy which was previously its ally.
Pakistan claims it has recovered Indian weaponry and medicines from South Waziristan. But I don't believe such reports. There are no such links between India and the Taliban. Even if India supports militancy, it is not foolish enough to leave the evidence.
The European Union has developed clear and unambiguous negotiating positions. We now want contributions from the US and from countries like China and India
In this connection, it is clarified that the secretary while speaking to newsmen here last Sunday simply conveyed that small arms made in China had been illegally brought by arms smugglers to India and supplied to Maoist groups. This observation was based on facts. At no point did the secretary say that...
India has a basket of options (to) use against Pakistan... economic, trade, media, foreign relations, military and covert measures
So far India's response has been reactive and defensive. India must make Pakistan realise that continued use of terrorism against her will hurt itself more than India.
The attacks by 10 terrorists who (came) from Pakistan were not just random... (they) were meant to frighten away the world from India's economic story... and to convey that no one was safe here
