Mario is a young man who is starting his journey and has a potentially fantastic career in front of him. It all depends on him. I am very happy with City’s victory over Manchester United because [former Inter boss] Roberto Mancini is a good man who deserves to win in England too.

Mario is a young man who is starting his journey and has a potentially fantastic career in front of him. It all depends on him. I am very happy with City’s victory over Manchester United because [former Inter boss] Roberto Mancini is a good man who deserves to win in England too.
Well, that's one way to look at it ... It's certainly always good to have targets because there is then a motivation to always do better.
This is the pinnacle of his career. There is no better man at it in terms of experience and dealing with situations. He has gone around the world and dealt with different people like the Inter Milan experience. He dealt with the senior players there. He has handled all that.
I think he'll take a sabbatical for a year ... And for the future I'm thinking only of Stramaccioni.
I have known Roy since he was coaching in Italy (with Inter Milan) and I have met him often in these last few years
I think it was a good thing that we got beaten here ... If we'd won easily we might have gone into the final round of qualifiers less motivated. It's important to learn from this and to reset the focus.
The national team will go to [Palestine only to] participate and, therefore has no target of winning the tournament. Moreover, the team is now preparing to play against Inter Milan on May 26. So, the match with Palestine will be more like practice
I was angry in 2010 when [Bayern] lost the Madrid final to Inter Milan ... The atmosphere in the national team was not good at the beginning of the 2010 World Cup but if you have eight players who join the team after winning the Champions League then that gives every team member a push.
He had big personalities at Inter Milan, star names, but he handled everything that was thrown at him. He earned the respect of the dressing room because he is so knowledgeable, he knows what he wants and how to communicate that to the players. That came across straight away.
In attack it is difficult to redeem the price for Zarate, he is a player, who under Stramaccioni, is back on a high level ... It is hard to believe that president Massimo Moratti will invest €15 million for a striker. If Lazio were to lower the economic claims, then there will be a chance to see Zarate ...
Now put yourself in Hodgson's shoes. As an XI, he will never have had a collection of talent like that, not even at Inter Milan. Why should he be downcast, or even subdued? He has considerably fewer problems now than would have confronted him on his first day at West Bromwich Albion. Just greater expect...
The scrutiny will be big. I understand that. Inter Milan wasn’t exactly too easy, though, when I was there. We all know the England manager’s job is the pinnacle of success for every England manager but it brings scrutiny and criticism, so I have to be prepared for that. It’s always a big job to win peo...
led Inter Milan to three successive Serie A titles after a previous 17-year wait
I’ve experienced other crucial matches, like the last match of the Serie A season in 2007-08 when I was Inter coach ... At halftime, Roma was champion, but in the end we won the Scudetto by scoring twice in the second half away to Parma, which was fighting to stay up. But yes, this match is very importa...
Excel Soccer provides an opportunity for young Canadian players to travel to the top soccer countries in the world and experience the passion and culture that makes soccer such a great game. The boys will benefit from the quality training leading up to the trip and the top-notch competition in Europe .....
John Terry will be missing but Chelsea are there and that is the most important thing ... Chelsea were heroes. People who criticise them know nothing about character, effort and how a team with 10 men can resist physically, mentally and tactically. It reminded me of my own Inter Milan team two years ago...
I actually never played there before – I did it a couple of times at youth level, but it was nothing really special. The boss didn't buy someone else [when Emmanuel Adebayor left] because he was convinced I could do it. I wasn't so sure. Then, in pre-season, we had a game against Inter Milan. I scored a...
If Barcelona faced someone else, like AC Milan or Arsenal, I wouldn't care who wins tonight, but without being hypocritical I'll admit that I have a soft spot for Chelsea and Inter Milan, so I'd like my former players to reach the final.
Inter Milan beat them that way and nobody took any credit from Inter Milan
I believe Inter Milan beat them that way and nobody took away any credit from them ... You want them to win. You know if they played like that the whole season it is more difficult to understand. In a cup game, you can understand.
Inter Milan beat Barcelona that way [in the 2010 semi-final] and nobody took any credit away from Inter Milan
Napoli have a bigger roster than we do and they have a better fixture list than us ... But all the other teams like Udinese, Roma and Inter Milan also remain in the race. I still believe that we can hold onto third spot by the end of the season even though today's result leaves a bitter taste in our mou...
But it's only right that it should be the president [Massimo Moratti] and the club that decide what is best, because Inter must start aiming for the top targets again.
It happened to me during a Juventus-Inter Milan match and I didn't spend too much time thinking about it
