The Plymouth team is a solid one. I think it helped us that we had a quicker match this morning (6-4, 6-0 over Concord (senior Trevor Dumont and junior Matt Schoeffler) while Plymouth had a three-setter (6-7, 6-1, 7-5 over senior Blake Luken and junior James Brandenberger) Northridge. 
The ladies ran well and were led by senior Hattie who smashed her personal best time ... The River Kings were led by James Smith. Freshmen Jarod Cannon, Andrew Holmes, Jon Lueders, Blake Tinderholt and senior Ethan Holmes all raced to personal best times.
We had some good individual performances, starting with Blake Dircksen ... He ran with one of the top runners in the state. He's on his way to having a great year. I thought Collin Ginebaugh ran a great race as our second runner, and James Willman moved up during the race and had a very solid performance.
He lost a match, but the tiredness and stress are within the usual limits ... He is very enthusiastic about this tie.
James is just exhausted physically and mentally after a grueling summer ... He said he needed a break and we respect that. This is also a great opportunity for Sam, who has had a solid year, strong results on clay and has been a loyal practice partner for this team.
