View Photo »It’s acupuncture with electric steam, not regular acupuncture ... The steam goes directly [deep]. You put the needle exactly in the muscle and then you put the electric steam on it where it hurts... that’s what makes this special. It goes directly to that point.
There's a lot of parity in the NHL, and it's tough to beat the same team three times in a row in less than a month. The Flyers were playing without Chris Pronger, Braydon Coburn and Jaromir Jagr. Besides, these aren't robots out there playing -- they're humans, and there will be nights where they seemin...
It didn’t bring me much luck on or off the ice
I feel good -- I survived the whole practice which is good ... But it’s not game shape and I knew that. I missed six and I came back, but I didn’t practice which is a long time for me. I have to play all the time. I just have to survive these games and not get injured again. I feel pain free now.
I don't want to promise anything
I feel pretty good ... The last time I pulled the groin I only had four days off, so maybe I came back too quick. We also didn't have any practices.
Maybe because I didn’t have any practices and went right away to play the game, the first period I felt pretty good [but] the second period I think the groin got a little bit tired, I pulled it a little bit
I feel fine, but I felt fine before ... The game is different. You kind of react. In the practice you know you have it and you’re thinking you have it and you cannot go 100 percent. In the game you can’t think, you just go 100 percent.
It was the first practice. I kind of skated a little bit [Monday] and [Tuesday] ... I had some power play time. I don’t want to promise anything. I did that last time and I got injured in the first period again. But I feel pretty good.
Maybe I came back too quick, but I didn’t feel any pain
It’s not about points, it’s about the whole team
It’s too early to tell ... I want to wait for the whole season and playoffs. I just don’t want to be somewhere where I can’t help the team, just sit around. It’s not me. I want to be a big part of the team to help the team, either way.
It's too early to tell right now
I want to be a part of this team, because you see the young guys and how much potential they have
That's why we have to wait
We have two games now and then have five days off ... I'm not going to play those two games.
There are a lot more young guys
It’s not that bad, but I felt the same muscle again ... The next shift, (Claude Giroux) gave me a pass, and if I’m healthy, I have a breakaway. I felt it again. I don’t think it’s going to take that long, but I probably came back two days too early. I didn’t want to just sit around. I love this team too...

I probably came back two days too early ... But I didn’t just want to sit around. I love this team too much. I wanted to help. I didn’t help much but I’m glad we won.
We got two games and then five days off ... I think I’m not going to play those two games and make sure when I come back I want to come back strong.
I missed a game ... At my age that’s like losing one year of your life. I don’t have that many left.
It was a great practice, I did a lot of game drills
At my age, missing 2 games feels like losing one year of your life
It was a pretty good practice. We did some game drills and it didn’t bother me ... I didn’t go 100 percent, but I don’t want to do anything stupid to not be able to skate tomorrow. Now I have an extra one and a half days to heal it.
