If you watch ’SportsCenter,’ you’ve seen their offense
Take the AFC Championship Game for example: despite outstanding outside rushers like NFL Defensive Player of the Year Terrell Suggs, Jarret Johnson, and occasionally Haloti Ngata, the Ravens didn't record a single sack. Admittedly, when Tim Tebow is...
But you could argue that the defense has the most question marks entering this offseason. Defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano left to become coach of the Indianapolis Colts. The Ravens have a handful of key free agents on defense — starting linebackers...

If he knows what (defense) you’re in, he’s going to hurt you
Anthony Spencer has not been consistent in any area of his game and shows no positional sense when asked to cover space. The similarities between Rob Ryan's defensive scheme and the Baltimore Ravens makes outside linebacker Jarret Johnson a nice pick up.
Given the presence of not one, not two, but three NFL Defensive Players of the Year (Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and now Terrell Suggs), it's hard to believe that the Ravens were able to keep Haloti Ngata last year. Asking Ozzie Newsome and his capologists to...

View Photo »The last four times we played them, going back to ’97, all four of them have been wars ... Even though they’ve won three of the four, they had to earn it. This one is not going to be any different. It’s going to be an extremely intense situation and environment, and we’re looking forward to it. It’s goi...
If he knows what [defense] you're in, he's going to hurt you
If you watch 'SportsCenter,' you've seen their offense
You can't say enough about him ... His big plays always seem to happen when you need one.
Should we be [underdogs]? I don’t know. It’s their place. They’re the No. 1 seed. They earned it. They’ve got the top offense in the league. They deserve to be the top team
Their fans are always rowdy ... We've been in a lot of wars up there and we've only one. We're looking to go in and win another one.
It was awesome. We love being at home
We like being the underdog. We're used to it ... I think we handle it better, psychologically. I don't know why, but I think we do. Should we be? I don't know. Obviously it's their place, they're the No. 1 seed, they've earned it. They're one of the top offenses in the league. They deserve to be the top...
You’ve got to disguise, you’ve got to move ... But you can’t show your disguise too early because if he knows what you’re in he’s going to hurt you. Disguise is very important, but you have to do it smart. It’s a very cerebral game, playing against him.
You can’t be a wooden Indian in there, like a stick figure ... You can’t just stand there. You’ve got to disguise, you’ve got to move.
His big plays always seem to happen when you need one
We’re used to that ... We’re used to a lot of quick stuff, getting to the huddle, running it out before we can get lined up in our stuff. Some teams delay, run the clock all the way down, go max-protect. But the big thing for us is teams that are able to run the ball and then (take) shots over our head....
It doesn’t matter how many wins and losses they have ... They always play good against us. It’s going to be a dogfight, so we better bring it.
They use a lot of different personnel groups so getting lined up is half the battle ... And being that we only have a couple of days to prepare, it makes it that much harder.
