Hey BronBron, who would you rather have … Hickson, Wally World and Z, or Amare Stoudemire and Jason Richardson??
That's not a big goal or big concern of mine because we have so many weapons ... If I get 20 points, oh, well, that's good. I guess we'll probably be winning the game if I do.
Gerald Wallace swore to me that he would never get in (the Sprite Slam Dunk) again because he got cheated (against Jason Richardson). In 2002, he came in from the free throw line like Dr. J (Julius Erving) so I'm interested to see what he comes with this year.
Guys aren't even worried about anything but going out there and winning games
Channing had to defend himself ... That's what happens when tempers flare. That's something that happens in basketball.
I don’t like to miss dunks, especially in crunch time like that, but it’s one of those things that happens ... You can’t do anything about it.
I went up and just missed it ... I don't like to miss dunks, especially during crunch time.
I just went up and missed the dunk ... It happens.
When he sees me going, he's definitely trying to get me the ball more ... It's like a third option. You definitely know what Steve (Nash) is going to do. You definitely know what Amar'e (Stoudemire) is going to do. Throw me in there and it's pretty deadly.
We're getting back to the style we were playing when we first started the season off ... We didn't let the offense dictate how we won. It's our defense that's carrying us.
People think because of how much money I make, I'm supposed to average a certain amount of points
You know what Steve's going to do, what Amare's going to do, throw me in there and we're pretty deadly
It does a lot of good, and we needed him tonight ... With that emotional win yesterday, guys didn't have the energy to come out tonight, and he gave us a big boost. We definitely needed that from him.
He keeps finding me ... We needed him tonight. With that emotional win yesterday, guys didn't have the energy to come out tonight and he gave us a big boost. We definitely needed that from him. You know what Steve's going to do, what Amare's going to do, throw me in there and we're pretty deadly.
It's been a long time, man ... Probably not since the days at Golden State.
He (Sefolosha) took a reach, and I was like, 'OK, I've got to go to the hole,' and as soon as I released it I knew it was going in
Defense and rebounding, that's what we did in the beginning of the season
Kevin Durant will be a tough matchup ... He's on a scoring rampage. Those guys are really turning their season around, and it'll be a big game for us.
I just got into a rhythm ... I saw we were struggling a little bit and we needed some energy, so I just took it upon myself to go out there and be aggressive. The shots started falling, and it kept us right in the game. We were down by three at the half, so I just tried to go out and be aggressive in th...
I knew this was a big game for us ... The second half of the season with 29 games left. In the Western Conference every game counts.
I knew this was a big game for us ... The second half of the season with 29 games left. In the Western Conference every game counts.
We didn't respond to anything ... We just didn't have it. We were terrible on defense, all around. Everywhere we looked. Drives, penetration, shots, rotations.
It started off great. The first month or so of the season was great then we got a little stagnant on the offensive end because Amare and Steve was getting it going on the pick and roll. Then everybody kind of figured out that's our go to butter so we have to get back and get myself involved, Grant invol...
That hasn’t changed ... That is something that has been around way, way before I came in this league. I don’t think anybody in this league looks at it and says that’s wrong. That’s just how it has been.
