I haven’t see a Dirk commercial, I haven’t seen a Jason Kidd commercial, Jason Terry commercial
We're a group that's going in there and it's going to be a playoff-type atmosphere, and it is an honor and a privilege to play on Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday ... So it's going to be a great game and I'm looking forward to it.
I haven't seen a Dirk [Nowitzki] commercial, I haven't seen a Jason Kidd commercial, Jason Terry commercial
You can't see my fingers or toes, but they are crossed hoping that Tyson's coming back ... He was a big part of what we accomplished here. We've laid a foundation. To take a step backward would be terrible. I'm not saying that we wouldn't have a chance to win this year if Tyson doesn't come back, but it...
I think people put too much emphasis into next year
It's up to ownership to make it happen ... We'll see.
Some people say it helps, some people say it hurts
Oh, no question, you’re talking five or six days ago we didn’t know
I gained tremendous knowledge
I've spoken to him every day for the last two weeks and he wants to be here, he wants to be a Maverick next year
He's big. Again, without Tyson on this team last year I just don't know if we win a championship
You can't see my fingers or toes, but they are crossed hoping Tyson's coming back because he was a big part to what we have accomplished here ... And, we've laid a foundation. To go back and take a step backwards would be terrible. Not saying that we wouldn't have a chance to win this year if Tyson does...
Tyson's play is contagious, and he affected all of us
I'm the number one recruiter ... I talk to him all the time. We've got to get Tyson Chandler back -- that's the key. A whole lot of people are trying to get him, but if we're serious about repeating as champions, he's obviously the key piece.
You can see where my focus is ... Ownership and management, I believe I can't speak for them. But I know where their focus is. The number one priority is definitely Tyson Chandler.
Considering the start that we got off to, I think we were about to do something that hadn't been done in the Dallas organization
The champs are the champs for a reason
I've seen a lot of ring designs
Everywhere we go around, people are excited ... They still know we're the champs until this season gets done. The most important thing for us is we want to go out and defend this thing now and go try to bring another one home.... Once you taste it, you want to get back out there and do it again.
Tell the fans we love them ... We hear a lot about people saying the players are greedy. It's not that. The players just want to go out and play the game that they love under fair terms. We're right there with [the fans]. Just as bad as they want to see us, we want to be out there.
