Jean Todt has been elected president of the FIA for a four-year term by the FIA General Assembly at its annual meeting in Paris
I would like to send my best wishes to Jean Todt in his new role, as I have always appreciated his ability, dedication andcommitment

Jean Todt (the new president) always had India on his list and that he won by a landslide margin definitely augurs well for motor sport in our country
I am happy with the outcome of the vote because the FIA is in very good hands, and Jean Todt is very capable of handling the job ... He is a very honest and direct man. We couldn't have had someone better than him.
Jean Todt is being supported very heavily by the current president Max Mosley and by [F1 commercial boss] Bernie Ecclestone. I think it's wrong for them to do that
I don't think that the FIA will change much if Jean Todt gets in, because I think that regime will stay the same
