UConn, I have a friend there, but that was definitely not a reason to pick a school ... Just being around a Hall of Fame coach [ Jim Calhoun] and knowing the things I could become at that school, that was one of the main reasons I looked at that school. I made my decision because of comfort-ability, just the type of person I am and where I believe I best fit. When I took my visit to Miami, I knew it was the place I wanted to be. 
I have no regrets about having a great relationship with Jim Calhoun and the basketball staff, and am glad to have had Nate be around such a person and staff ... Any parent that is lucky enough to have their son play for those guys is a very fortunate person.
The attention he got in his last two years of high school was unbelievable ... He was hearing from virtually every big-time college or university in the country and coaches like Rick Pitino, Jim Boeheim and Jim Calhoun actually came to his house. Everyone wanted Marlon.
I already feel like part of the family ... Coach [ Jim] Calhoun, we're building our relationship every day. I'm just doing whatever he tells me to do and see where it gets me. He told me to be ready [to contribute to the team], but first it starts in the classroom and off the court.
We had to play so much out on the perimeter ... Even though they [were] conceding the backboard, we've got to start speeding the game up. And we did, and obviously good things happened. I'm looking for more than the numbers here.
