Senators who say they just want to allow for debate are trying to deceive their voters while giving President Obama the crucial votes he needs to pass a government takeover of health care. Voters should be watching and remember who stands up for their freedom and who stands with the special interests wh...

Many apologists for the thuggish takeover of the elected government in Honduras still claim that what happened last June 28 was a ‘bloodless’ coup. In a Wall Street Journal editorial on October 10, U.S. Senator Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) went one step further, denying there even is a political crisis here, and...
I'm very thankful that President Obama and Secretary Clinton have finally taken the side of the Honduran people and have committed to letting them choose their own future
But when something like this happens three times, I think it's called a trend - which makes Republican Sen. Jim DeMint of South Carolina officially the trend-maker
Democrats want to impose an unfair doctrine that destroys talk radio and silences the voices of millions of Americans who disagree with their vision for America.
It wasn’t the ‘people’ who gave us a $12 trillion debt, an IRS tax code seven times longer than the Bible, over 1,700 departments of the federal government, trillion dollar deficits as far as the eye can see, $100 trillion long-term shortfall in Social Security and Medicare, the Wall Street and auto bai...

When South Carolinians elected me to the U.S. Senate in 2004, I promised to fight for the principles of freedom that made America the greatest and most prosperous country in history ... But politicians in both parties continue to support more spending, more debt, higher taxes and more government takeove...
As all strong democracies do after cleansing themselves of usurpers, Honduras has moved on
We saw a government working hard to follow the rule of law, uphold its constitution, and to protect democracy for the people of Honduras ... We are very encouraged by what we saw and we hope to be able to work with our administration to support the upcoming elections.

The best solution to the crisis in Honduras is free and fair democratic elections that allow the Honduran people to decide their own future
