Clinton is going to continue to be monitored, he's going to continue to be checked, but we're not going to play him this week
Washington Redskins head coach Jim Zorn held a press conference Sunday to reassure fans that, despite an inability to effectively execute their offense, defense, or special teams, the Redskins were still somewhat comparable to a real football team.
Well, I've been here a year and a half, and the things that I've been frustrated with is just that Clinton's been injured a bunch and hasn't been able to practice
Jim Zorn, you are not a head football coach in the NFL. High school? Definitely. You can coach in high school. You can coach my son in high school anytime. Anklebiters, for sure.
I don't want this to be something where Ladell came in and did a wonderful job -- good grief, he really did a tremendous job -- and yet have Clinton lose his job because Ladell came in in support
The hiring of offensive consultant Sherman Lewis is not an indication that Coach Jim Zorn and his offensive staff have performed poorly, quarterback Jason Campbell said today.
We kept Clinton at home just to get rest ... That was kind of doctor's orders.
I see how the Redskins Coach (Jim Zorn) is on the hot seat ... I don't understand this coach. Marko would be a deep threat for the team. And their quarterback (Jason) Campbell was cold. I think Marko would have done a good job. Don't get me wrong. I'm glad Detroit won, but I was also rooting for my son....
They're two different kinds of runners but Ladell certainly picked up some slack and really ran hard ... That’s been his reputation – to come in, get his legs moving and get what he can. He made some good run decisions and played hard. Everybody has known since before I got here that Ladell Betts is a q...
When Clinton got knocked out, Ladell just rose up
Chris Cooley is getting his ankle checked and hopefully he'll have a good report ... We're hopeful he can get out of that boot. We can start moving his ankle around and getting him on some minimal weight bearing.
Really, we got involved at halftime ... They ended having a little pride at halftime. ... I'm qualifying. We lost. I get that. The thing I'm impressed about is the fight in the Washington Redskins.
Stafford should best beware of what he may encounter here ... If you'll recall, the last time a knee, Detroit, and the Pacific Northwest intersected, Tonya Harding's goons whacked Nancy Kerrigan's knee in Motown.
This is going to be a great break for us ... It will be a chance for us to regroup, heal up, and then start strong again against Atlanta.
You ... are not a head football coach in the NFL. High school? Definitely. You can coach in high school. You can coach my son in high school any time.
Right now, Will Montgomery is going to be our right guard ... Partly Chad Rinehart's shoulder is still hurting him and he mentioned to [offensive line coach Joe Bugel] today it's still sore, so we have to have somebody that can practice what we're doing so [Montgomery's] going to go.

Even when we were developing that with Chad, we were hoping to see what Mike Williams could do in there ... So we gave him some reps. He looked pretty good.
It's always tough in the NFL. We're 2-2. That means we're 50-50. And that's not where we want to be. That's my problem. That's not anybody else's. That's totally my problem.
